This is a quick video showing how to use peat moss pellets. They are placed in water and expand, and then can be used for planting seeds. The tops of the peat moss are opened up, and then the seeds are inserted into them, around 2cm deep. In this video, courgette and yellow squash are planted.
Peat moss is a great option to make for easy seed planting, and gives the new plants a great start. The seeds can be germinated and then moved into bigger pots before getting them ready to transplant.
The video goes all the way from planting through to harvesting. The seeds take between 5 and 10 days to germinate.
